Appreciation and Notification of Change in the Office of the Secretary General
The Party wishes to express its sincere appreciation to the outgoing Secretary General, Ms. Asha Bashir, for her dedicated service, commitment, and valuable contribution to the Party during her tenure. We thank her for her service and wish her every success in her future endeavours.
The Party is pleased to notify its membership, stakeholders, and the general public that Mr. Jacob Gitau has been appointed Acting Secretary General, with effect from 13th October 2026.
We call upon all Party members, officials, and stakeholders to extend to the Acting Secretary General their full support and cooperation as he assumes his responsibilities and continues to advance the work and objectives of the Party.
The Party remains firmly committed to unity, progress, and the pursuit of its shared objectives in the service of its members and the people of Kenya.
